Social Care Practitioner – Roslea/Rosslea

Job Description

Care Plus are looking for caring individuals to provide Domiciliary care on a 4/3 rota basis in the Roslea/Rosslea area of Fermanagh. We are currently looking to fill a tea and bed rota on a permanent basis.

Excellent opportunity for some evening work if you have young kids during the day or for a second job. The tea and bed rota typically runs from around 4pm to 10pm.

On our Block rotas you work Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday on Week 1 and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday on Week 2 repeating. You will be contracted for a set number of hours each week on this basis.

To provide care for elderly, disabled and convalescent clients to enable them to remain in their own homes maintaining an independent lifestyle.

Sample of most common duties (full job description given upon application):

• Helping clients in and out of bed (using hoist if required), washing, dressing and toileting
• Bathing/showering client, Personal Care
• Meal Preparation
• Bed making, laundry duties, shopping
• Record information on service plan sheets

Essential Criteria:

• Full valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle
• Ability to work as a team member
• Willingness to complete Care Certificate or equivalent qualification
